Who Else Wants an iPod Touch for Christmas?
The Wonderful iPod Touch
If you know an iPod fan who has yet to get their hands on an iPod Touch, you probably already know what they want under the tree. The question is, why is the iPod Touch so hot and why should you consider giving in to their want? Here's what you should know if you need to buy for an iPod fan, but don't really know the product or the culture...
What is It?
The iPod Touch works kind of like a touch screen cell phone (iPhone anyone?) but it doesn't have the ability to make calls or send emails. It's purely for entertainment purposes.
From music to movies to photos to games and more, the Ipod Touch can keep one entertained for hours.
Now, while the iPod Touch is not a phone, it's important to note that it does have Wi-Fi access. In fact, it's the first iPod that has a wireless connection to the iTunes store. Want to download movies, music or games? Not a problem. Head to your local Wi-Fi hotspot, link up to the iTunes store and download everything you need.
The Dirty Details
So how much is the iPod Touch going to cost you? That depends. You can get an 8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB model. The more storage, the higher the price. Plan on spending at least $225 for an 8 GB iPod Touch model, and it goes up from there. The question is, can you put a price on happiness?
