Less Than 4 Months to Get Your Christmas Shopping Done!
Is It Too Early for Christmas Shopping?
If you're thinking it's too early to even think about Christmas shopping, you're on the fast track for Christmas gift burnout. After all, there's less than 4 months to have all of your Christmas lists in order and get your Christmas shopping done. Haven't even started yet? Worry not! I've got a plan that will help you keep your Christmas shopping stress to a minimum this year.
Is Your List Ready?
If your Christmas shopping list isn't in order yet, it's time to get started. By the end of next week (or the week after that at the latest) you should have your entire Christmas list written and laid out in front of you.
Think it's unnecessary? It's not. Preparing your Christmas shopping list this early in the game will ensure that no one gets left off mistakenly (and I'm not talking about your in-laws here...)
Who Needs or Likes What?
Believe it or not, your Christmas shopping starts with the list you made -- not at the store. Take a good look at the list and make notes next to each of the names. What do they like? What do they need? This will give you a game plan when the time to hit the stores actually arrives.
Shop the Sales
By not waiting till the last minute, you can do your Christmas shopping on sale. If you have gift recipients on your Christmas shopping list with expensive tastes, the only way to give a great gift is to get it at a discount (or spend a bundle). I prefer the discount option. I know what I need to buy and I have a few months to find it on sale. It works out perfectly. I suggest you do the same.
The Budget Factor
Oh, there's one more reason why Christmas shopping this early is a wise idea... You can have your Christmas gifts paid off before you even give them out. Instead of paying them off in January, February, March or even June and July you can have them paid off by December and start the new year debt free! Christmas shopping early really does make sense when you think about it!
