Great Ideas for Storing All Your Greeting Cards
Buy all Your Greeting Cards at Once to Maximize Your Savings
When you think of all the gift-giving opportunities that arise, you are probably overwhelmed by the sheer number of gifts and greeting cards you need each year. Stockpiling greeting cards is something many champion gift givers do, but keeping those greeting cards organized and readily available is not always an easy task.
Get Organized!
There are a few ways for you to keep all those greeting cards organized so that you will have them available when you need them. An accordion file folder can function as a great centralized storage container for all your greeting cards.
You should keep a master list of all the greeting cards you need for the year. Write down all the names of friends and family who you give birthday and anniversary cards to and also anyone who you give Christmas and other holiday cards too. You can label the accordion folder tabs by month and include all the cards you’ve purchased for each month’s events and birthdays in its respective folder.
Another way to organize your greeting cards is by holidays. Obviously, all Christmas cards are needed in December, so this system is partly based on monthly categories. However, broader categories like birthdays and anniversaries can occur during every month of the year.
Tackle It All
There are benefits to buying greeting cards at the start of the year all at once. Sometimes if you buy a certain number of greeting cards you can get one card for free at the time of purchase. If you buy each card as you need it and space out your purchases, you might never qualify for the free offers.
Some stores that sell greeting cards offer a punch card and reward shoppers with a free card after so many purchases. If you buy all your greeting cards at one time, you can really maximize the savings, and as long as you know how to keep all your cards organized, there is no reason not to.
