Father's Day Is Tomorrow: Do You Have Your Father's Day Gift Picked Out?
A Few More Last-Minute Father's Day Gift Ideas
Okay, I've been warning you for weeks that Father's Day is on the way and tomorrow it will be here. Do you have your Father's Day gift picked out yet? If you don't, you really don't have much time. Fortunately, I can help. Here are a few that are really REALLY last minute, but will still make a great impression.
Get to the Mall
Hopefully your local mall has one of those same-day engraving stores. If they do, you need to head on out there and pick out a watch or a bracelet or some other nice gift for dad and have his name and a little "Happy Father's Day" message engraved onto it. It won't look last minute and it's sure to be a treasured keepsake.
Gift Baskets
It might be too late to arrange for gift basket delivery, but that doesn't mean you can't make your own. Go to a local hobby store and pick up a nice wicker basket and cellophane. Then buy a bunch of small gifts for dad to fill it with. Gift cards, golf balls, fishing lures, candy -- there are dozens of things that dad would love and a gift basket is the perfect way to give him a little bit of everything.
Dinner Out
Make reservations at a really nice restaurant and take dad out for a great dinner. Then give him a gift certificate to the same restaurant and plan on making a date for another dinner out with him. Trust me, I did this with my father one year at a place called Bob Chinn's and he said it was the best Father's Day he'd ever had.
Get On It
Now, quick, pick one of the above and go out and get it. Seriously. Dad is too important to let Father's Day slide. Just because you waited till the last minute to buy your Father's Day gift doesn't mean you can't still get him a great one.
