Father’s Day is Right around the Corner
Great Gift Ideas for Father’s Day
Father’s Day is June 18th so if you haven’t yet gotten your father a Father’s Day gift, it’s time to start thinking about what you’re going to get. Sometimes dads can be the hardest people to shop for, so we’ve got some gift ideas that are sure to make any dad happy on Father’s Day.
Dinner and Quality Time
What dad wouldn’t want to spend some time with their son or daughter on Father’s Day? If you and your dad need to catch up, maybe dinner together is the best Father’s Day present you can give him. Relaxing over a great meal is a wonderful way to spend some cherished time together.
Cherished Memories
When it comes to children, all fathers will agree theirs grew up too fast. It seems like one day they’re changing diapers and the next they’re sending you off to college. If you want to bring a tear to your dad’s eye, give him a scrapbook with pictures and mementos from your childhood. Photos of you and dad together throughout the years, Father’s Day cards from years past and old kindergarten drawings all make great scrapbook additions. You may need mom’s help with this one since she’s likely to be the one to have the mementos you’ll need.
Gift Cards
If you’re dad’s not the type to enjoy a meal out and not really a sentimental kind of guy, the above Father’s Day gift ideas probably won’t work well for you. However, you really can’t go wrong with gift cards. Dad has to have a favorite store. Simply get him a gift card to his favorite place to shop and let him pick out his own gift and you’ll have gotten him a Father’s Day gift he’s sure to like.
A Weekend Away
If you have a big budget for this year’s Father’s Day gift, you may want to consider taking a weekend trip together. Whether your father is into fishing, hunting, golfing or just lounging by the pool, plan a trip that the two of you can bond over. Not only will it be a great Father’s Day, it will be a gift that creates memories to last a lifetime.
