Coupon Books: The Gift of Savings
Coupon Books Make Great Last-Minute Gifts
If you’re anything like me, you like to keep a few things in your home to give as a last-minute gift should the need arise. After all, you never want to be caught empty-handed when an occasion calls for a gift. The trick is usually keeping gifts on hand that are of a one-gift-fits-all variety. However, I’ve found that coupon books fit this need perfectly.
Coupon Books?
Yes! Coupon books. Now I’m not talking about those homemade coupon books that allow you to redeem coupons for favors or chores or those free and cheap coupon books that the stores hand out, I mean coupon books like the Entertainment coupon book that offers deep discounts on dining, entertainment and groceries.
After all everyone loves saving a dime (or more). When the coupon books for the new year come out, I buy about half a dozen of them. I keep one for myself and the rest get put away to be given as last-minute gifts throughout the year.
What makes the idea even better is that coupon books aren’t expensive gifts. If you can find them on sale, you can get them for less than $20 a pop.
